The Chris Bergson Band's new album Bitter Midnight, released in Europe by Continental Record Services on March 17, is already drawing rave reviews. The Dutch publication Gitarist Magazine named Bitter Midnight Album of the Month for March 2017, praising Bergson's "tasty, intuitive guitar work and passionate vocals" and calling the record "an absolute must for fans of blues, soul and southern rock." Chris Bergson joins the roster of Tornado Concerts for Benelux Bookings
Bergson is thrilled to join the roster of one of the leading Dutch music agencies for bookings in Holland and Belgium. Founded by Arnold Wegner in 1991, Tornado Concerts is known for their work with such diverse artists as Beth Hart, Ronnie Earl & The Broadcasters, Gillian Welch and Ryan Adams as well as building up new talent.  

The U.S. release of Bitter Midnight is set for April 4 via 2 Shirts Records, with a CD release show at NYC's famed Jazz Standard on April 5. Additional shows include April 15 at Roy's Hall in Blairstown, NJ and Saturday, May 20 at Black Eyed Sally's in Hartford, CT.  

Bergson has additional Stateside shows with acclaimed Blues Music Award-nominated vocalist Alexis P. Suter & The Ministers of Sound including this Friday, March 31 at the Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA celebrating the release of the band's new album Live From Briggs Farm (Briggs Farm Records.)

The Chris Bergson Band’s highly anticipated new release Bitter Midnight is the band’s first studio album since 2011’s critically acclaimed Imitate the Sun. Bitter Midnight showcases the band’s “gut-busting, horn-bedecked NY blues” (MOJO) with eleven original songs all recorded to two-inch tape at Brooklyn’s Mighty Toad Recording Studio.
